One Color

For this assignment I chose orange. I liked this homework and would like to take more time to do it and maybe do  series of colors. The only trouble I had was the short amount of time, I think it made my pictures lack variety. I chose orange because I wanted to do yellow but I felt like everyone did yellow or I wanted to do purple but i didn't feel like I had enough time.

Time of Day

For this project I had a lot of trouble finding time. I finally uploaded the contact sheet and the rest of my pictures for this exercise! Before this exercise I never really took the time of day/light into consideration when photographing something. This helped me to realize which times of day are more flattering lighting conditions.

White Balance Exercise

This assignment was fun, I enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of anything then looking at the difference between white balances. Before reading this chapter I wasn't even aware of that button on my camera. I think it will definitely come in handy from now on.

Scanner as Camera

I had big ideas for this project, that is, until I came down with the flu and had to use my inadequte scanner as a last resort. Some of them still came out cool though, so I guess I'm not totally disappointed. I never even considered using the scanner as a camera, it's actually a really cool idea.
